M1936 Bag , officers (Musette Bag)
This was a general purpose bag, mainly intended for officers and other personnel that could not use the standard M1910 haversack for some reason (like paratroopers), but popular by everyone that could lay their hands on one. Inside the bag is separated into 2 sections, and the flap can be closed with 2 straps. There is a small pouch on the right side and a large flat pouch on the rear side, both closing with a metal button. The bag has 2 straps with hooks at the top and 2 small D-rings at the base, and could be either worn attached to the M1936 suspenders as a backpack or with a seperate sling as a general purpose bag.
